Tell Us About You and Your Career
Mention relevant people in Fayette County Al aka Sticky City and one of the first names that comes to mind is Knoc Aka Alabama Pimp. The 26 year-old rapper and co-CEO of GameBreakas ENT. heard the song “Pocket Full of Stones” by U.G.K. at the tender age of ten and he knew that being a MC was his destiny. Influenced by the legendary Pimp C and Bun B and Eightball and MJG, Knoc and his Brother Lil Comi started hitting the studio in their early teenage years. By the time they were 18 they had recorded songs with the likes of 3-6 Mafia, Young Bleed, Al Kapone, Ty Cutta, K-Rino and many other successful artists. The Dynamic Duo also opened shows for 3-6 Mafia, The Last Mr. Bigg as well as many other acts. By 2006 Lil Comi and Knoc had moved thousands of units and were making noise in the underground circuit using a grassroots approach.

Their careers were looking very promising unit March 2006, when an incident at a Tuscaloosa night club sent Lil Comi to jail and derailed the enthusiasm for music that Knoc once had. Fortunately, Lil Comi would not allow his situation to be the undoing of all the previous hard work. After a long conversation with Lil Comi, Knoc was convinced he had to jump back into the arena. Once the decision was made to return to music, Knoc got back in the lab and he dropped the Alabama Hero mix tape which garnered noticeable media and industry attention. Knoc was then contracted by the legendary DJ Smallz and released Street Fame in 2009. In 2010, Knoc won a Southern Entertainment Award for “Best Host on a Mix tape”. With mix tapes and accolades, Knoc proves that he is an artist to watch for
