Get the lowdown on #musicmoney featured Yoki Gold and his huge new 19 track mixtape The Sampler Platter #1

Born in Great Falls, Montana and moved to Southern California in 1992, Yoki Gold was raised in a single parent home with an older sibling named, “Firstborn”, an aspiring influence. One day his brother, “Firstborn” spewed a twenty four bar incantation into a recordable Walkman for Yoki Gold to memorize and recite as oral expression, giving a euphoric birth to his career. Intrigued and influenced by the savory wordplay of Hip Hop’s pillars such as Tupac and The Outlaws, N.W.A., Eminem, Big L, C-Bo, Yukmouth, The Hot Boyz and E-40, the art of rhyming had burrowed itself into his heart and soul. Yoki Gold became an apprentice under the entrepreneurship of his brother and The Savage Committee. Soon after becoming a member, Yoki Gold began the journey of honing his own skills.

“For me, writing was innate. But my delivery had to be crafty with optimal efficiency, which in turn developed my signature sound on the microphone,” Yoki Gold states. “I have endured and survived criticism and have been discouraged, stereotyped, ridiculed and booed off stage. To be brutally honest my flow is truly unorthodox.” It was Yoki Gold’s belief that he had a lot more to offer creatively through life experiences and being an intelligent individual, he wanted his music to portray just that.

Yoki Gold has been paying dues since 1997, making relevant and timeless music that people can relate to. Priding himself on standing out and going against the grain, even being judged of being self-absorbed, he has remained dedicated to his authentic style. Finally, on November 7th, 2005 he released his first solo EP titled “Gravel Foundation” under Sweat Shop Recordings. Followed by a compilation project which was released nearly a decade later titled “N.A.S.A. Boyz” under Miracle Child Entertainment.

On stage, Yoki Gold becomes one with the fans and microphone trekking to different worlds, warmly inviting the audience to join in. His staunch stage presence is vibrant and map moving, a team player when it comes to collaborations, fortifying his hard working character in beliefs for a brighter day. Over the years Yoki Gold has worked with Triple Play Management, Miracle Child Entertainment, The Kushaholics, On Da Run Entertainment, LefSyde Productions, Sweat Shop Recordings and Demolition Men Productions. Future plans consist of building his own empire. His music reflects and covers today’s hot topics, cars, money, women, nightlife, politics, his own trials and tribulations along with life and death experiences. He currently has a few irons in the fire with a couple of upcoming mixtapes followed by a full length album. Yoki Gold has been a compliment to the rap game past, present and future. Just food for thought, he has had multiple aliases over the years from Menace a.k.a Young Terrific, B-Young, Youngin’ and now Yoki Gold. Deep thoughts brought to the surface of today’s expectations. “No mission is impossible that is why I am on my mission is possible!”
