Open Gate Management LLC is a Music Management Company started by Terrell Johnson, a Full Sail University Music Business major. This company was established so that he could work with independent artist, producers and studio engineers. While working with these different individuals, his plan is to mold them into business professionals. Terrell’s goal is to take those individuals who are made into business professionals and present them to major music industry executives or assist in building their careers as successful independent music professionals. With his strong networking and interpersonal skills, Terrell has developed several business relationships with individuals who have maintained a long track record in the music industry. Open Gate Management’s goal is to work with independent artist and mold them into industry superstars. We provide the same skills and knowledge of major labels without the drastic overhead charges while still allowing independent artist to have to total creative control over their music.
Terrell Johnson was born on January 4, 1985 in Birmingham, AL. Always having desires of being successful in the music industry, he has worked as a music artist, producer and engineer. With experience in all of these different fields, he has a solid understanding of what it takes to be successful. After pursuing careers in all different aspects of music he identified his calling as a manager in early 2011. Terrell hopes of someday being a successful artist and repertoire (A&R). He enjoys working with up and coming talent to mold them in the right direction in order to allow them to be most successful.
