From the very birthplace of Hip-Hop - in the Bronx - as a kid seeing Kool Herc and Grandmaster Caz hooking up to a street light on Sedgwick Avenue with their huge speakers, playing breaks in the park or at Building 1520 – DJ Billy Bronco was born.


Billy would travel to North Carolina where he learned hip-hop on another level. Watching DJ’s playing in backyards and at the parks was different than in the Bronx – learning the up and coming and growing culture and the many DJs who he came to know and meet has made DJ Billy Bronco a True School DJ!!!

Since 1991, his Dj name was “Phat Daddy” which he changed to Jamez Bond “alias 007” (due to another dj with similar name) the name DJ Billy Bronco was just his codename for the streets, crafted for his remixed mixtapes and cds that urban clothing stores stocked. He was heard throughout North Carolina, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington DC, Atlanta, and New York doing numerous house parties, which eventually lead to DJ Billy Bronco opening major events for artists like, Wu-Tang Clan, Onyx, Gravediggerz, Nas, Biz Markie, Gang-Starr, Black Moon, Dj Kool, Smith & Wesson, Mad Lion, Lady Apache, Ron G, Black Moon, Brand Nubians, Jarule, Dres(Black Sheep) Fat Joe, Khia, Dj Unk, G-Unit, Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, Stylez P, Jadakiss, Lil Wayne and Wacka Flacka to name.

Making a mark in 2006 via Myspace, DJ Billy Bronco landed his first online internet mixshow with Corzradio (NY) with the first Myspace Lunchtime Mix. As a result, Billy became in high demand all over New York and New Jersey, which in turn lead to Billy being crowned “King of the South of the Remixes” and holding the Top 10 spot for “Most Requested” for 8 weeks in a row!!

DJ Billy Bronco (FSDJ) is now known Nationally and Internationally by way of his Online Mixshows. With a heavy rotation of mixshows- Corzradio, Takeova Radio, LordGang Radio, The Best Jams, HHF Online Radio, World of Djs with audio/ video streaming- Stickam, Ustream, Livestream and Blogtv, Billy became a global name virally. In 2009 he auditioned for Dj Clue”s reality tv show “Who’s The Dj” which got big reviews.

Billy continued to make an impact in 2010, landing numerous online mixshows and guest appearances, clubs and parties. Traveling all over the country, with shows landing in Vegas,New York, Ohio,North Carolina, Florida,Virginia,South Carolina and Atlanta. DJ Billy Bronco also collaborated with various radio stations WRSV Soul 92.1 FM and WPWZ Power 95.5 FM.

2010 also took a major turn for Billy. Late Sept. Billy was in a car accident which ended him crippled for nearly 5 months. Unable to walk without enduring excruciating pain, shows were cancelled and he had to give up everything to start over again. With 2 major surgeries needed, his struggle became a tearful challenge.

2011 marked an even greater challenge, Smirnoff “Master of the Mix” which he auditioned and made it to the 2nd round in front of celebrity Djs as well as becoming a "MOTM Peoples Champ" finalist. Show aired on BET in November.

Future Star DJs, Newburgh’s Finest Pitbulls, He is associated with numerous Dj Coalitions.
