Tell Us About You and Your Career: I started out working for an indie distributor in Detroit pulling, packing and shipping music to various retailers in the Midwest. While attending college studying business law and advanced to the front business office in accounts receivables and payables. My first major labels were ABC/Dunhill, MCA and Polygram where I sold new releases to major stops and mom & pop retail stores. I advanced to corporate clients like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Handelmen and various chain stores. I began promoting events and was hired to radio promotion in Michigan, Ohio and Illinois and was moved to Texas by Casablanca Records to do regional radio promotions covering Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Moved to New York and worked for several law firms and corporate businesses in entertainment. Returned to Michigan and began consulting with indie artists in promotion, marketing and artist development.
