Tell Us About You and Your Career: My name is Devont'e Tyler aka DeVoThaArtist I'm an aspiring music artist from Bronx N.Y. Producing tracks is my first love even though being a rap artist and songwriter is something I believe I have great unique talent in. I've been making my own music since the age of 13. A friend of mine in my freshman year of high school introduced me to a program call Fl Studios. Since then my love to produce and create my own music has grown,intensified and has flourished from when I started until now. Where I was raised wasn't the best of neighborhoods to grow up in but, I was one of the fortunate ones to have an outlet to keep me grounded and focused on something I love to do. Let alone the support I've gotten from my parents especially my father. At the age of 17 I began to let close friends and family hear the music I've created . When I got the positive reactions I decided to perform at different showcases. It that moment when I saw the people rock out with me I knew music was my life and this was something I wanted to do and be serious about it. My father use to write when and my mother is a poet so I feel I'm destined to do this. It's in my blood, even deeper in my soul. My goal is to become variant, a positive force, a blessed soul to the ears and hearts of many. There's always room for improvement. I've always been my biggest critic because I know there's so much I don't know and want to learn as an artist. I have great people around me who are making sure I stay focused. I'm making sure I keep myself focused as well. This isn't something I'm doing just to waste or past time. This is something I do because I not only do I love it, but I need and want this, and will work hard beyond measures to make it happen! I haven't blessed as many stages at this point and time just yet, but I have been on a few stages and I'm definitely working hard on perfomance, stage presence and crowd control. I can't wait to work my way up to get on bigger platforms and show people who I am as an artist and why I belong in the industry!
