Tell Us About You and Your Career: American-born, composer, musician and songwriter, Paul Stone has a stylistic personality that fans and critics have spotted from the moment he broke onto the music scene, locally, nationally and internationally through Pod Cast and Sirius XM Satellite Radio: Paul is an artist that delivers an infectious and incredibly sincere sound. Mostly straight Rock with a ton of energy with some Blues echoes. The structure is great and with the vibe created it needs to be experienced, the way he confidently plays his guitar, eyes half open and soul pouring into every rich, crisp and mesmerizing melody.
Paul started with classical training in piano and guitar, and then, with other stylistic trainers, explored many other instruments that he could use to spark that inspiration within him. Eventually, this need to explore other avenues of music, leading to a broad and eclectic blend of influences. All these events culminated to become his own wonderfully styled sound. In the process of sharing his songs, Paul bares his soul to the audience, no matter their size, in an attempt to make the sentiment he's expressing accessible, while also keeping it imaginative. The world truly is the inspirational place that seems to feed his thirst for music, while at the same time, bringing others together.
He has performed at venues, from local nightclubs, motorcycle rallies and camp grounds to Sirius XM Satellite Radio. His work with Mark Shaw, A.K.A. "Bigfoot", airing on The Howard Stern show via Serius XM Satelite Radio. "The Real Bigfoot Band" was a great opportunity for Paul to be able to explore a more adventurous sounding, characteristic edginess one associates with a creative, more imaginative, humoristic and sometime shocking themes in his music. Songs from that album can heard on the Internet, where you can also see the amount of plays numbering in the thousands, even though considering that this was so very far outside his more traditional stylistic training. - Airing Episode 176 - entitled, "Bigfoots Girlfriend and Band". Not sure if that experience would hinder or help his career, he courageously did his best in a stylistic venue unlike his comfort zone. Always willing to try new things, Paul Stone is a rare musician indeed.
Being a stickler for his music and an emotionally powerful performer, he often carries this energy with him throughout may other activities in his life: Paul is a prolific songwriter, that has a fundamental quality, which combined with his work ethic and gift of sharing makes him a artist you can connect with also.
Whether with a full band, on stage with just a guitar or recording in the studio, he is simply captivating. There is no substitute to the experience.
