I was riding Down 7-Mile today, I heard a new artist, A female group. Didn't get the name but I wished I had. Anyway, The (male) Air personality comes on the air after the young ladies did their thing, And he goes. "I played this track for the young ladies because they came to the station Humble", which is a good thing. But what I really had a tough time with was him stating that, they said, "we know it's not the best song but we just want to hear our song played on the radio, if we could just get 1 chance". He said he felt inspired to spin their song for that reason alone and that they didn't say to him that they would guarantee him he'd like it! Not because he heard of them or like "SPUD" a new york radio personality who landed a job at the radio station in detroit told me at 7-Mile salon When My beautiful DIVA Tyra paid his BITCH ASS $2500.00 to come out while we cut 105 Free hair cut's to promote the salon with 105.9 f.m. radio, that "They didn't have enough buzzz!".........LISTENERS, Artist's and up and comming artist's including the young ladies who's record was played! There's no other city that has radio station's that function in this capacity! We're not gonna have it either! The IDEA is to encourage artist to come forward with their talent and Believe in it. I felt like I should just say fuck it and walk away from the game completely because of lack of support! Many other artist's out here have to. FUCK THAT! Detroit is gonna return the homage we owe our forefather's in entertainment! Please if you work for Radio One or any Clear Channel network, investigate this clown and pull him up on this movement before I DO! These are the words of The Inevitable!
