2009 came with a lot of new steps forward for Stopbeefinradio.com and our staff.  In light of this, we like to create a TOP TEN at the end of every year to recognize others and their moves being made in the industry.   We appreciate you following our podcast, the #1 hip hop podcast in the world.  It is because of you that we continue to put out music both indepependent and major, to keep this culture advancing.   This year we had, P Diddy - Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Twista, Ace Hood, and a bevy of others, PERSONALLY endorse what we do.  We released mixtapes with DJ Rapture in Germany featuring Sean P, Hurricane Chris, Pretty Ricky, Coldby O'donis, and DJ Smallz (Southern Smoke)  We were blessed by the likes of DJ Tony Neal (Core DJs), Janine Jennings (Industry Works), TJ Champman (TJDJs) to be welcomed at their events and add our air of positivity and message to the culuture. Independent Artist of the Year

While in ATL we were blessed to go to T.I.'s going away party at Club Crucial and witnessed the best live performance since Jimi Hendrix.  This man is now featured on ESPN and a bevy of other spaces and with his team @brich404 and @tjsdjs this artist is going to be the next to REALLY blow.  Our artist of the year is none other than B.O.B.

The song of the year comes courtesy of a foursome that some would say eclipse last years "Swagger Like Us" foursome.   "Forever" ft. Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem was by the far the best song that we heard come across the waves.  It even brought the ghost of Marshall Mathers to deliver a classic performance! Give it up to the year biggest Collaboration!!!!!!

Mixtape of the Year
For obvious reasons, the number 1 mixtape of the year belongs to the hottest artist of the year.  This mixtape catapaulted this artist from Toronto, CN in the national spotlight with a buzz un seen since the early decade.  This award goes to none other than Drake.
