New York, New York “Back To The Basics” best describes the new release from producer and sonic design legend 4th Disciple. 4th collaborated with New Jersey lyricist Bizz “The Prince”’ to release the EP “Against The Grain” which was initially going to be titled “Back To Basics”. The recording process was delayed as Bizz was working on several street releases with Jersey artist Louie Ave. as 4th’s production complimented various releases such as Method Man’s “Meth Lab”, Peedi Crakk “Good Life”, Sean Price “Imperious Rex” and various other releases. In late 2017, Bizz and 4th Disciple partnered back up and went back to the basics, of one artist one producer format. Bizz “The Prince” provides intelligent wordplay and lyrics that flow over melodic 4th Disciple break beats.
In regards to production, sound quality, lyrics and content this is best hip hop album release of 2018.

“Against The Grain” consist of five tracks including the first single “The Truth”, “Break The Wallz” featuring Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck, “Gunz and Butter”. “, 10 Sex Commandments and “Jail or Heaven”. “Jail or Heaven” narration of a inmates visions from behind the wall is a classic, , the genius of 4th Disciple provided production which appears to be a conversation from a low quality correctional facility phone. The EP flows together like motion picture. The EP “Against The Grain” is now available for pre-order on iTunes and Google Play and the full release will be available on 4-27-18.
