j and the 9s Are Bringing Originality, Talent and FUN back To Independent Music and That's How They Love To Be

   j and the 9s are a power house of independent music. From their look to their sound to their amazing talents this Brooklyn, New York trio are truly a mixture of something this listener has never encountered. They are all about what entertainment once was...ENTERTAINING. The sound and style they produce has been compared to so many greats from so many genres, it is hard to tell where these skilled musicians should be placed. That is the originality many have built their own lane on. Most of those have gone on to become legendary. j and the 9s have all the qualities to become just that.

   Currently prepping to release their upcoming EP, "THE TERRIBLE TWOS", which is schedule for a July 2017 release, j and the 9s have just released a fascinating visual presentation for the single "Love To Be", and there is no way you can't love it.  

   Set with a basement party, house concert type feel, j and the 9s brought a strong feel good vibe. Packed in, party-goers rocks so hard to the the music it seems the house is rocking. And j and the 9s bring enough energy you can't help but to want to rock to. While showcasing their musical skill, they also present their fun filled attitude and presentation, but even where they separate themselves from the rest. When lead singer J steps away from vocals to add a live and very funky riff with her experienced flute playing abilities. Perfectly lit, filmed and directed the video itself brings this single to a larger than life presentation in the same sense as genius Bruce Banner transforms into unstoppable Incredible Hulk. It keeps you wanting more...worry not, j and the 9s EP project is on the way.
