 J MISIR is a rising artist who is coming out of the stirring Vancouver music scene with a hunger to learn, grow & spread positivity to his listeners. The rapper found himself entranced by hiphop music at an early age which was a form of therapy for him & later became a way to put on for his family & team.



Born in East Vancouver & later settling in Surrey, he spent his early years dabbling with his creative side from beatboxing, writing poetry which later inspired him to write his own songs & recording them with his home studio he created from buying cheap equipment.



Fuelled by the grim realities around him & his battles with his mental health growing up, he spent his days into developing his craft making music his life’s obsession taking from his inspirations such as Tupac, Nas & Eminem to J Cole & Kendrick Lamar. He plans to set his best foot forward and flood the internet with his music & visuals in the upcoming months & give his city the credibility it deserves.



J’s most recent single “The Come Up” is bold & dramatic with a sense of hope & strive. Showing off his versatility with the NY/UK Drill sound and still staying true to his roots.
