I started in the music biz in 95 working with High Velocity T.V. as Associate Producer. We showcased independent and National Artist. My job was to setup interviews by contacting the Labels and building relationships with the people behind the scens. Over the 3 years with the show I was instrumental in interviews with such artist as Nas, DMX, Eminem, D12, TrickTrick, Destiny's Child, KC and JOJO, Kid Rock, Project Pat, Mobb Deep and The LOX. During a Mobb Deep promo tour I met Morris Baxter, National Promotion Director at LOUD Records, he help me get my foot in the door, by giving me a promotions job for LOUD. It wasnt about the money it was about the opportunity, we would make money by throwing open mic showcases that featured LOUD Records artist and promotions. In 98 after a short college hoop career I moved to Atlanta, my cuz'n and biz partner J Mclane was working for Lisa "Left Eye" Productions, I landed a job in advertising with CRUNK Magazine by day and woking in promotions for DEF JAM South at night. This is when I met Prism he ran the streets of Atlanta for Def Jam South. We setup afterpartys for Def Jam artist whenever they came to Atlanta. At the same time I was working with Def Jam South I was managing a artist from North Carolina named TightMan who had a demo deal with JAZZY PHA. We promoted a weekly event (Celeb Monday's) at the Gentleman Club our notable guest included R. Kelly, Guru, various NBA and NFL stars. I was with Def Jam South until 02 during my time there I had opportunity to work on Roc A Fella, DTP, Murder Inc. and RedMan projects. In 2005 I hooked back up with childhood friend K'Jon to A&R the "YES SIR" street R&B Mixtape and Video. This mixtape was instrumental in him getting a record deal with Chopper City Records, B.G and Carol Dorsey's Label. It was there that I had a opportunity to work as A&R on the "THIS IS ME " album in 2006 which gave birth to the hit singles "This Time" and "On The Ocean".
