The Geriatrics Vengeance Club is a collection of songs inspired by the pandemic. During covid times, experiences that never happened before took place, and the album's witty take on them is refreshing.
Columbia, Maryland - April 23rd, 2021 - Andy Larzis, the mastermind behind the album 'Geriatrics Vengeance,' wrote all the 12 songs included. The entire album is based on the fictional book 'Geriatrics Vengeance' itself. The book is narrated from Dr. Ben Polton’s perspective describing the new Covid era. The album does an exceptional job at taking a serious topic and discussing it in a lighthearted manner.
Released in March 2021, the songs are about the journey of a group of elderly people who create their own alternate reality by challenging the Covid quarantine. Being a doctor and working with elderly Covid patients, Andy draws his firsthand experience and utilizes it in the book and album.
By working with some talented artists, the album consists of exceptional vocals. The music, along with the clever lyrics, catches the attention of listeners and keeps them engaged. The indie/folk melodies are calming and are perfect for a chill day, while the progressive rock makes you want to move.
