Dan P Project Releases New Album “Guitar Vistas,” a Journey Through Nature’s Soundscapes

The new release from Chicago-based artist Dan Pokorni blends acoustic guitar with New Age elements, creating a serene musical experience.

Chicago, IL — Chicago’s own Dan Pokorni, known for his expressive guitar work and New Age influences, has released his latest album, Guitar Vistas. An exploration of nature’s rhythms through acoustic guitar, the album offers listeners a journey from sunrise to twilight. Each track on the album paints a musical vista, with Pokorni’s guitar artistry guiding listeners through the calm, beauty, and depth of nature’s landscapes.

Produced by Dan Pokorni and Jason Schmidt, Guitar Vistas features collaborations with accomplished musicians including saxophonist Jim Gailloreto and percussionist Eric Pancer. The single “Drivin” delivers a jazzy, groovy feel highlighted by Gailloreto’s sax and Rick Barnes’ lively percussion, while “Shakir” is a vibrant collaboration that combines folk and jazz influences with Pancer’s intricate rhythm work. Listeners will be captivated by tracks like “Seasons,” a piece that begins with a simple guitar line and evolves into an eight-minute atmospheric synth exploration, echoing the natural progression of the seasons.

With feedback describing the album as “groovy,” “eccentric,” and “performed with great expressiveness,” Guitar Vistas captures the heart of Pokorni’s vision. His belief that music can serve a greater purpose—whether to heal or simply connect with the listener—is reflected in each carefully crafted track. This album is more than a collection of guitar tunes; it’s a soundscape inviting listeners to pause, reflect, and lose themselves in its relaxing yet intricate layers.

Pokorni’s musical journey began with his 2006 release, Guitarscapes, followed by several releases under his former band, Men Who Listen. Now, with Guitar Vistas, the Dan P Project returns to his roots with a refined sound that promises to inspire and soothe audiences.

Guitar Vistas is available on all streaming platforms. Pokorni encourages fans to listen, share, and connect with him on social media. Stay tuned for exciting collaborations in pop, rock and electronic music.
