Experimental, Metal and Progressive Rock. This Singer Will Bring All of The Three to The Music World, Introducing Riccardo Moccia.

Riccardo Moccia is an experimental, metal, and progressive rock composer that is determined to break in the music industry through compositions, arrangements, and unique musical performances.

RM, Roma – June 10, 2021 – Riccardo Moccia is a composer, writer, video maker, actor, guitarist, singer, poet, and a sound engineer. During the time period 2011 to 2016, he created, and composed “Maschere Vuote”, a progressive rock band from Rome, in which he featured as a guitarist. The band was featured in the book “Rock progressivo italiano dal 1980 al 2013” by Massimo Salari. The band release an EP “Maschere Vuote” in 2015 which was a massive hit and Riccardo’s last EP with the band.

Riccardo is the Ideater of “Protesi Project”, a blend of theatre, cinema and music. In 2019, he released a publication of “Percorsi,” a jazz/fusion album with SPLASC(H) Records. The album was written, played, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Riccardo Moccia. In 2020, he gave the theatre industry a shot and was an actor at a theatratical collaboration with Antonio Saccà (writer and sociologist) and the “Associazione Culturale il Cibo e L'arte” by Loredana Paolesse. Riccardo was also the composer of the theatrical show “Giallo Raffaello” by Barbara Chiesa e Riccardo Barbera.

This year Moccia has been busy with the publication of “Concertless” Djent, progressive/fusion album. The album was written, played, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Altamira Multimedia (Riccardo Moccia).

Concertless is a song released by Riccardo on February 25, 2021. It is a sui-generis album -but with an accurate concept behind, so it can't be the absolute truth, of course- where every track says something different from each other. The approach to compositions is the traditional one of European classical music, the modern one is instead the development in the arrangement and in the aesthetic exposure, which is now all concentrated in its digital genetics. Riccardo moves through this temporal contrast in the various forms of cultured music, playing with the contrasts and contradictions that inevitably derive from it.

This album is very heavy: not only in terms of sounds, but also in terms of souls, because it is inspired by the heaviest entities of the earth.
