Following a memorable Summer Tour with Alain Caron, Dave Weckl, George Whitty, Manuel Trabucco, Luca di Luzio is back to his recording studio working on  a new album
Cesena, Forlì – September 28^nd, 2023 –Luca di Luzio, a versatile Italian guitarist and composer stuns audiences with a blend of jazz, funk, Latin, and modern music with his latest album, “Never Give Up.” Produced and played by the renowned George Whitty , the new record takes listeners on a melodic journey.

With nine  original compositions Luca di Luzio’s music transcends boundaries, portraying the gifted guitarist’s ability to craft compelling melodies.

ABOUT

A jazz guitarist beyond boundaries, Luca di Luzio was born and raised in Italy. The artist’s love for jazz germinated while studying at the Conservatorio di Musica Frescobaldi di Ferrara, where he honed his skills under skilled mentors. He also studied with Garrison Fewell, Dean Brown, Les Wise, Ron Eschete.

Luca di Luzio’s journey has been enriched by his participation in seminars and guitar masterclasses led by legendary musicians such as Pat Metheny, Mike Stern, and Mick Goodrick. Throughout his career, Luca has collaborated with a multitude of national and international artists, showcasing his adaptability and innovation across different musical contexts. His musical partnerships include luminaries like Dave Weckl, Jimmy Haslip, and George Whitty, among others.

He has also created a line of bags for Archtop Guitars and collaborated with Polish company JTJ Audio to develop groundbreaking pedalboards. Moreover, Luca di Luzio’s recording studio in Cesena, Italy, serves as the creative hub for his ongoing musical explorations.
