Some artists believe becoming a success is going to the studio, laying down a track, and going home.  Reece Mills is one of those who believes there's a whole lot more to the process of becoming a successful artist.  From being in a group to now being a solo act, Reece has gone through the trials and tribulations throughout his short music career.  As he now ventures as a solo artist, he will bedropping a new single called, Tip Her, which will change up the style he's been known for, a smooth R&B crooner.

Let's not get it twisted, Reece Mills will always stay true to his roots.  Growing up, he was exposed to the great artists of the past which have become his inspiration, namely Teddy Pendergrass, Usher, Ginuwine and Bobby V.  "I thank my grandma for putting me onto that feel good music like Teddy P," says Reece.  He would always sing along with songs on the radio but didn't take music seriously until the age of 20.  Around that time, he joined a group along with two rappers to join M.O.S, which would later become "Monsters of Success."  The group slowly deteriorated until Reece was the last man standing.  He still carries the moniker of M.O.S as a part of him.  He explains, "Being successful is one thing but becoming a monster, someone that becomes so big that they overcome the success and make it a way of life, that's how I think."

Around the same time he joined the group, he met Frank Nitti, owner of Blue Anchor Productions.  "I was into music by the time I met him but with his vision and help, we started to make waves around town and began to make a name for ourselves.  I can say without him I wouldn't be in the position I am right now."

Initially it was tough getting the name out there as a group and solo artist.  This is where the time, effort, blood, sweat and tears come in.  A lot of time was devoted into getting the name out there in the town of Allentown, PA.  During the time Reece was in a group, he was at every show getting his name out there and networking with fellow artist around town.  It took years but Reece Mills became a household name around the Allentown music scene as one of the best R&B music talents around.

It took the connection from a fellow artist from the area by the name of EZ, and the musical production from DeXmen to take Reece's sound to another level.  What we have now is one of the truly dynamic voices around now.  The local scene has been conquered but Reece has always had a vision of being a star, someone who can sell out the biggest venues around the world.  The last piece of the puzzle was his mom, who took on the vital role of his manager.  "She's always had my back in any and everything I do, she keeps me on my toes, I am not the man I am today without her guidance and support!"

As of this moment, Reece is currently recording some fresh new material to show the growth and new "Reece Mills" with the help of the upstart B.A.M.G (Blue Anchor Music Group) label and TNTMG.  Soon his single, Tip Her, will be out to the masses where everyone can hear who he truly is.  This is only the beginning though.  The dawn of a new era is among R&B fans everywhere. Reece Mills is on the horizon!
