ZYVNiDE - "Brief"

Born and raised in Chicago, ZYVNiDE is a female rap artist with an accented and prototypical sound blend of trip-hop, trap, conscious hip-hop, & R&B. At the age of 15, ZYVNiDE, who then went by Major Tee, started performing freestyles to some of the most popular songs like BMF, You’re a Jerk, and etc. while also perfecting playing the clarinet. After receiving some success and traction with her YouTube rap videos, ZYVNiDE was confident in her future potential to compete with some of the best rappers known to the game.


ZYVNiDE soon changed her name to “$YANIDE” as a symbolic mark of poison on the mic, where she released additional remixes such as her 2014 live performance of Nas’s “One Mic” and 2016 studio performance of Travis Scott’s “Can’t Lose.” After gaining additional traction with original songs SPADES and COLISEUMS in 2016, ZYVNiDE was soon born to replenish the old with the new, representing a meditative yet poisonous wolf. ZYVNiDE took a break from recording, however, in 2017 to learn music engineering. In February 2022, ZYVNiDE released her first album titled “mastered peace” that included an eclectic collection of sounds like island music and trill/trap music. Some of ZYVNiDE’s most popular songs are “Brief” and “Four.”


Recently releasing her single “Charged the Card!” ZYVNiDE is on fire, ready to change the idea of the femcee.
