living in a sober living community, rebuilding his life after rehab. Today, the co-founder and

former lead singer of reggae-rock band The Movement is celebrating his return to music with the

newly released The Year of Subtraction, his second full-length solo album, available now on all

major streaming platforms.

The 12-track album, entirely written, performed, and produced by JWADI, blends indie

singer-songwriter, alternative, reggae, and hip-hop, reflecting his journey of recovery,

transformation, and artistic reinvention. Known for writing some of The Movement’s

most-streamed tracks—including the fan-favorite “Set Sail” (40M+ streams worldwide)—JWADI
