Gidi Derzy Is A Hard Working Indie Artist Creating Amazing Music

Gidi Derzy was born into a musical family. His father was a bass player and Gidi started piano lessons at the young age of 6. His main study of the craft was classical music till hewas13.   But as a listener, he was drawn to jazz, funk, rock & pop as well at that time. Gidi then found himself moving on to jazz and other genres, as well as starting to compose and arrange his own music. At 17 years old he decided toenter into Jazz school. He went on to graduate from 2 schools. At the first one he played in a big local Jazz band of the school in the north of Israel and the second was in Tel Aviv till the age of 25. 

Gidi also played with different band's and genres like - blues, jazz, fusion, funk, soul, hip hop, reggae, rock, progressive, pop and more.

He recorded, mixed & produced couple of albums and singles to different artists in Israel includes his own projects. And after 3 years of hard work on "The Anunnaki Project" Debut album finally came out on January 5th 2016,  The debut concert was on July. 30th 2016 at Beit Hayotser - Tel Aviv, It was a very exciting  moment for all the members of the band! And a night that went down in the local music scene as amazing.

After this show they played on more club's, bars and events and continue to tour whle still making time to hit the studio and work on the next album. We look forward to hearing what Gidi brings next. And we are sure you will too!!
