Woodbridge, VA - August 13, 2020 - Talented singer Monallo is excited to release his new album to listeners around the world. “By The Sea” is the result of Monallo’s expert songwriting and production skills.

“By The Sea” is an enchanted musical journey that will draw in listeners. The album was written, recorded, engineered, mixed, and released as a one-man DIY team. Music lovers will hear the expert songwriting skills of the artist on each track. The artist consulted Jake Sharick on the mixing of the album. The stunning album art was created by Douglas Bailey.

Monallo, aka James Drakes, is an acoustic/indie rock artist who began writing music in 2015. He started in the band "James Drakes and CT3" before it evolved to Monallo. Monallo’s warm sound has shared the stage with talents such as Tim Reynolds, Lee Dewyze, Casey Abrams, and Kevin Cadogan. Monallo is affiliated with Plastic Ocean Project which is dedicated to the removal of plastics in the ocean. The artist was recognized as a POP global Ambassador in 2018 and percentages of all album sales are donated to the group.
